A Start in Life

Under A Start in Life social program (the “Programme”) in 2015 JSC Nurbank helped 17 former residents of children's homes of the Republic of Kazakhstan to enter the Caspian University.

Thanks to the Programme, in 2014, 10 former residents of children's homes in Almaty entered the university. They are currently 2^nd year students. Thus, currently 27 former residents of children's homes study at the university.

It should be recalled that under the Programme, the Bank covers the costs of the tuition, monthly scholarships, travel tickets, meals and accommodation in Almaty. Also, students enrolled in the Programme, will be offered the opportunity to get a job with numerous regional divisions of the bank in the future.

The ideological inspirer of A Start in Life social program (the “Programme”) is Eldar Sarsenov, Chairman of the Board of Nurbank. Through the Programme, former residents of children's homes will be able to get a higher education at the Caspian Public University. In turn, the Bank covers the cost of tuition, monthly scholarships, travel costs, meals and accommodation in Almaty. Also, students enrolled in the Programme, have a 100% guaranteed employment in the future.
