Dear clients!
JSC NurBank has started accepting applications and signing additional agreements to deposit contracts under the Payment Procedure for Compensation on Individual Deposits in the national currency (tenge), due to the transition to a floating exchange rate regime, approved by the Management Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This Procedure regulates the conditions for making compensation payments on individual deposits opened in the bank in tenge if the deposit balance as of the end of the operational day on August 18, 2015, does not exceed 1 million tenge.
Which deposits are eligible for compensation?
If you had a deposit with us as of the end of the operational day on August 18, 2015, with a balance not exceeding 1 million tenge inclusive, you can participate in the compensation mechanism.
If you have several such deposits with us, all these deposits can participate.
What needs to be done to receive compensation?
You must contact us and enter into an additional agreement by September 30, 2015.
How to determine the amount eligible for compensation?
You conclude an additional agreement with the bank indicating the amount that will not exceed the balance of your deposit as of the end of August 18, 2015. We provide several examples:
1) if the balance as of the end of August 18, 2015, was 1,000,000 tenge, and on the day of your application (September 15, 2015) the balance is 200,000 tenge, you can replenish the deposit with your own funds up to 1,000,000 tenge, in this case, the amount eligible for compensation will be up to 1,000,000 tenge (you can specify an amount less than 1,000,000 tenge);
2) if the balance as of the end of August 18, 2015, was 500,000 tenge, and on the day of your application (September 15, 2015) the balance is 1,600,000 tenge, then the amount eligible for compensation will be up to 500,000 tenge;
3) if the balance as of the end of August 18, 2015, was 800,000 tenge, and on the day of your application (September 15, 2015) the balance is 6,000 tenge, you can replenish the deposit with your own funds up to 800,000 tenge, in this case, the amount eligible for compensation will be up to 800,000 tenge (you can specify an amount less than 800,000 tenge);
4) if the balance as of the end of August 18, 2015, was 1,000,000 tenge, and on the day of your application (September 15, 2015) you have no open deposit or the balance is 0 tenge, the amount eligible for compensation will be up to 1,000,000 tenge.
In what cases will compensation be paid?
To receive compensation, you must not withdraw (reduce) the amount eligible for compensation before September 30, 2016, inclusive, except for withdrawing (debited) money as part of the bank's order and/or third parties for withdrawal based on the grounds provided by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan (PTP, collection orders), as well as target payments under state programs (state education savings system, etc.).
You can withdraw (reduce) the amount eligible for compensation (if the product conditions provide for partial withdrawal), but in this case, the compensation will not be paid.
If the withdrawal/debit/reduction of the amount eligible for compensation occurred based on PTP and collection order, as well as through targeted use of money on deposit for the "Educational Cumulative" product, the compensation will be paid.
When will compensation be paid?
If by the end of September 30, 2016, you retain the amount you determine now and sign an additional agreement with us, compensation will be paid to your account by October 10, 2016.
The amount of compensation will depend on the exchange rate of the tenge to the US dollar on September 30, 2016.
You will be informed in detail at our Bank's offices.
