Applied Arts Exhibition

Applied Arts Exhibition

A unique exhibition, organized by JSC Nurbank, has opened in the French House. The collection of applied arts has been collected by the Bank for many years, and now residents and guests of Almaty have the opportunity to see the historical heritage with their own eyes.

The collection includes jewelry from the 18th-20th centuries, handmade carpets from the early 20th century, household items such as jugs, kumgans, samovars made of copper and brass from the 19th-20th centuries, cold weapons, horse equipment, and more. The oldest exhibit is a measuring cup from 1748, and the most unusual one is a silver toothpick-ear cleaner with a ruby insert, which belonged to Ablai Khan.
