Social Program 'Ticket to Life'

Social Program 'Ticket to Life'

The nationwide social program 'Ticket to Life' by Nurbank JSC and Caspian University successfully launched in the new academic year as part of the 'Year of Goodness' project.

Thanks to 'Ticket to Life,' 11 graduates from orphanages in Almaty have enrolled in Caspian University. Nurbank JSC and Caspian University covered tuition fees, monthly scholarships, and other education-related expenses.

Additionally, students from the 'Ticket to Life' program will have opportunities for employment at various regional branches of Nurbank JSC.

Saken Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank JSC:

'I should note that the program is aimed at those orphanage graduates who showed a desire for knowledge during their studies and are genuinely willing to obtain higher education. This is a mutually beneficial collaboration for students, the bank, and the state. The orphanage graduate gets an education and future employment, the bank gains a promising specialist, and the state receives a fully-fledged member of society.'

Among numerous charitable and sponsorship projects, Nurbank pays special attention to the most vulnerable populations. The 'Time to Give Warmth' campaign is held annually by Nurbank JSC across Kazakhstan to provide material support to orphans and children without parental care. Since 2008, Nurbank has partnered with KTK TV channel on the social project 'Road Home,' aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find a new family.

Saken Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank JSC:

'Nurbank's social projects not only draw public attention to this issue but also effectively contribute to solving this social problem. By our estimates, the 'Road Home' project has helped over 300 Kazakhstani children find families. We aim to consolidate the tradition of charity in society, thus the bank plans more good deeds.'
