On August 24, 2013, Nurbank organized a charity event at the 'Dibek' equestrian club for students of the special (correctional) boarding school No. 8 for children with developmental delays, orphans, and children without parental care. The bank's top managers organized a vibrant and memorable event for the children.
'For the second year in a row, students from orphanage No. 8 spend their summer holidays at the "Dibek" equestrian club. We decided to take this opportunity to spend the weekend with the children, as "live communication" with adults benefits the children. Such meetings have become a tradition for the bank. However, this is the first time a play program at the equestrian club for children was organized,' said Nurbank CEO Kantar Orynbaev.
Currently, 31 children aged nine to seventeen reside at the 'Dibek' equestrian club. During the event, a drawing contest, a quiz on equine studies, and a pull-up competition were organized in the first half of the day. Following the contests, the bankers presented MP-3 players and backpacks to the children. Throughout the event, children actively participated in the contests and demonstrated horseback riding skills they acquired during the holiday at 'Dibek'.
'At the equestrian club, education, work, and rest are organized like in a real family. Here, children reveal themselves differently. Over the summer holidays, we taught the children how to ride horses, provided them with introductory horse riding skills, and how to properly care for flowers. The children really enjoy being here,' said Galym Burshakbaev, General Manager of LLP "Equestrian Club 'Dibek'."
In the afternoon, the bankers played sports games with the children, followed by a dance master class in hip-hop style by a show ballet, culminating in a disco.
'Every child here needs attention, and today we tried to fulfill it. Thanks to initiatives like this charitable support, we manage to bring a sense of family, joy, and care to the children, albeit for a short time,' concluded K. Orynbaev.
