PRESS RELEASE
Almaty, May 31, 2013
On June 1, JSC 'Nurbank' will congratulate the students of the Special (Correctional) Boarding School No. 8 for children with developmental delays, orphans, and children left without parental care on Children’s Day. 50 students of the boarding school will attend a screening of the cartoon 'Epic' at Kinopark 11 IMAX 3D, located at Essentai Mall.
'We recognize the responsibility of business to society and strive to make our contribution to the socio-economic development of the country. We do everything we can to give children positive experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime,' said Chairman of the Management Board of JSC 'Nurbank', Kantar Orynbayev.
Among the many charitable and sponsorship projects implemented, 'Nurbank' pays special attention to the least protected segments of the population. The 'Time to Share Warmth' event is held annually by 'Nurbank' throughout Kazakhstan with the aim of providing material assistance to orphans and children left without parental care. Since 2008, 'Nurbank' has been a partner of the joint social project 'The Road Home' with TV channel 'KTK', aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find a new family. According to Mr. Orynbayev, this program helps not only to attract public attention to this issue but also to have a real impact on solving this social problem.
'According to our estimates, thanks to the 'The Road Home' project, about 380 children across the Republic found families in 2012,' concluded Mr. Orynbayev.
