PRESS RELEASE
Almaty, May 31, 2013
On June 1st, NurBank JSC will congratulate the students of Special (Correctional) Boarding School No. 8 for children with intellectual disabilities, orphans, and children left without parental care, on Children's Day. 50 students from the boarding school will attend the screening of the animated film 'Epic' at Kinopark 11 IMAX 3D, located in the Esentai Mall.
"We recognize the business's responsibility to society and strive to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country. We do everything we can to give children positive experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime," said Kantar Orynbayev, Chairman of the Board of NurBank JSC.
Among the many charitable and sponsorship projects being implemented, NurBank pays special attention to the most vulnerable segments of the population. The 'Time to Give Warmth' campaign is held annually by NurBank across Kazakhstan to provide material assistance to orphaned children and children left without parental care. Since 2008, NurBank has been a partner in the joint social project with TK 'KTK' called 'Road Home', aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find new families. According to Mr. Orynbayev, this program not only brings public attention to this problem but also has a real impact on the solution of this social issue.
"According to our calculations, thanks to the 'Road Home' project, around 380 children across the Republic were adopted in 2012," concluded Mr. Orynbayev.
