JSC Nurbank earned a net profit of 1,271.074 million tenge (current rate 150.77/$1) in January-September 2012, which is 18.7% higher than the figure for the same period in 2011, as stated in the bank's unaudited non-consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
The bank's assets increased by 9% year-to-date to 293.324 billion tenge, liabilities rose by 11.5% to 221.189 billion tenge, equity capital increased by 2% to 72.135 billion tenge, and the charter capital remained unchanged at 127.611 billion tenge.
According to the state financial supervision, Nurbank ranked 12th among 38 Kazakhstani banks in terms of assets by the end of the first half of 2012.
