On the extraordinary general shareholders meeting of Nurbank held on June 8, a new Board of Directors was elected. Currently, it includes Raushan Yerzhanova, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eduard Kreimer, and independent director Marina Semenova. The authorities of the previous Board of Directors, which included Nurali Aliyev (Chairman), Dariga Nazarbayeva, Duman Seitov, Raushan Yerzhanova (independent director), and Bektas Mukhamedzhanov (independent director), have been prematurely terminated. At the same meeting, a decision was made not to pay remuneration to the board members.
Raushan Zeynullayevna Yerzhanova, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Insurance Company Victoria". She was educated at the Almaty Architectural and Construction Institute (engineering-construction specialty and industrial thermal energy) and the Central Asian University (finance and credit). Candidate of Technical Sciences.
Eduard Lvovich Kreimer, Director of KSP Steel. He was educated at the Kazakh Polytechnic Institute named after Satpayev (engineer-economist). Candidate of Economic Sciences.
Marina Anatolievna Semenova, Executive Director, Member of the Board of Directors of JSC "Center DAR". Graduated from the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, Moscow (finance and credit, banking).
JSC "Nurbank" is among the top ten largest banks in Kazakhstan, ranking eighth according to several key indicators. As of January 1, 2010, Nurbank's assets totaled 295 billion tenge, equity was 45 billion tenge, and the bank's loan portfolio was 261 billion tenge.
