On March 1, the campaign 'With a Visa/Visa Electron Card to the FIFA 2010 World Cup' began in Kazakhstan, in which all holders of VISA payment cards who made cashless payments for goods and services amounting to at least 2500 tenge participate. The prize fund of the promotion, established by the Visa payment system, includes the main prize—a trip for two to South Africa for the FIFA 2010 World Cup, as well as 5 home theaters.
As part of the promotion, Nurbank has established an additional prize fund for its clients. Weekly, Nurbank cardholders participate in the draw for cash prizes of 15,000 tenge, and at the end of the campaign, 100,000 tenge is drawn.
On March 12, the first draw was held among transactions made from 01.03.2010 to 07.03.2010, with the first lucky winner determined. On March 17, the first winner was awarded at the NurBank branch in the capital. The lucky winner, who opened the Nurbank prize vault, was Ainur Beisebayeva. She paid with a Nurbank card for a purchase in a shopping center in Astana and won a cash prize from Nurbank—15,000 tenge.
