PRESS RELEASE. Oracle E-Business Suite system implemented at JSC Nurbank

Oracle E-Business Suite is a full-featured suite of integrated business applications that provides efficient management of all aspects of a company's operations: finance, production, personnel, procurement, logistics, marketing, sales, service, supplier, and customer relations. The total project cost is estimated at 62 million tenge.

The project to implement the system was initiated in August 2006 in collaboration with LLP "ABS Soft Development". Initially, it was planned that the system's launch date would be March 1, 2007, and full industrial operation was scheduled for June 1, 2007. By March 1, all necessary data had been loaded into the system, and directories prepared. However, due to various objective and subjective reasons, the project did not start on time.

According to Andrey Chuchelov, the managing director of JSC Nurbank supervising the IT block, in October 2007, the bank's management decided to launch the system at all costs, "since the further we moved away from the previously planned transition point, the less were the chances of successfully implementing the project. Thanks to the coordinated and intense work of the bank's structural departments' employees and specialists from the partner company LLP "ABS Soft Development", the project was brought out of stagnation within two months, difficulties were overcome, and the system was implemented in industrial operation."

In the further development of the Oracle E-Business Suite system, particular attention is planned to be given to implementing modern human resource management technologies embedded in the system, which is every enterprise's main resource. Today, this is of utmost importance for JSC Nurbank. Viewing employees as the company's primary value, creating conditions to attract and retain the best employees, and timely preparing personnel for new business conditions and needs will allow the bank to form a solid foundation for future success. The ability to make informed decisions in all personnel management processes will be based on using comprehensive and reliable information about each bank employee.

The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment project is designed for the long term, with plans to fully utilize all the capabilities of this suite.
