Nurbank conducted the annual campaign 'Time to Give Warmth'

On the eve of Children's Day, Nurbank held its traditional campaign 'Time to Give Warmth'. As part of the campaign, in 16 cities across Kazakhstan, Nurbank employees organized festive events for children from orphanages.

In Almaty, the Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank, Eldar Sarsenov, met with the youngest residents of orphanage №1. In a festive atmosphere at the well-known family cafe and pastry shop 'Anderson', Eldar Sarsenov and the children participated in a master class on preparing delicious pizza and potato pancakes.

‘Helping orphans is a good tradition of Nurbank for many years. Usually, we do not like to loudly announce our social projects, but today we would like to urge everyone who has the opportunity to help — whether it be with words, deeds, money, attitude — it doesn't matter what or how — to definitely help! Because children are our hope, and how we raise them now will determine the future of our country,’ said Eldar Sarsenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Nurbank.

During the fascinating culinary lesson, along with the chairman, the children learned to make snail pizza and mashed potato pancakes. At the end of the event, they tasted the resulting treats. Finally, the children were given sweets, toys, and other gifts.

‘Culinary master classes stimulate the child to show and develop the best qualities: the creative side of personality, attention, and imagination,’ says Eldar Sarsenov.

In addition, since 2014, Nurbank has been actively supporting its own project 'A Ticket to Life', which educates orphanage graduates from different cities of Kazakhstan at the Caspian Public University. As part of the project, the bank covered the costs of accommodation, food, travel tickets, and students' preparatory exam expenses, as well as scholarship payments for academic achievements and monthly financial assistance. Currently, 23 orphanage graduates are studying at CPU, 6 students are in their second year, and 17 are in their first year.
