JSC 'Nurbank' reports that on 25.01.2016 at around 1 am, an employee of LLP 'Egida-Druzhina', while on duty at the Karaganda branch office of JSC 'Nurbank' (hereafter - bank), in violation of job instructions, negligently handled a traumatic pistol 'Record cherif 743' and shot himself in the temple. The second guard, hearing the shot, arrived at the scene, provided first aid, and acted according to instructions. Subsequently, the duty group of the Central PD and the Ambulance team, along with the leadership of LLP 'Egida-Druzhina', arrived promptly at the scene.
The guard was hospitalized in the Regional Clinical Hospital with a diagnosis of 'Brain Contusion', in satisfactory condition, and is conscious. In his explanatory statement, the injured acknowledged his own fault and confessed to having decided to 'try his luck' and play 'Russian roulette'.
Currently, the regional police have drawn up an administrative protocol against the guard, according to which he must pay a fine. In turn, the Bank will send a claim letter to LLP 'Egida-Druzhina' concerning the negligence and unprofessionalism of their employee.
