Nurbank has joined the UN Global Compact, which includes over 24,000 companies and organizations from 167 countries.
This demonstrates Nurbank's commitment to the ten universal principles of the UN Global Compact, focused on human rights, fair labor practices, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
"The corporate philosophy and development principles of the Bank have always emphasized not only business efficiency but also our long-term contribution to Kazakhstan's development, considering the interests of clients, employees, shareholders, local communities, and others. In 2023, we also initiated a phased ESG transformation of the Bank based on international approaches. Participation in the UN Global Compact is a strategic opportunity for us to form new partnerships and enhance our competencies, including in terms of practical assistance to Kazakhstan in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals," commented Gulnara Musataeva, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Nurbank".
