Almaty, September 29, 2021. By the decision of the Board of Directors of JSC “Nurbank” on September 29, 2021, Gulnara Abaevna Musataeva was appointed as Chairman of the Management Board of the bank.
Previously, Gulnara Musataeva held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Nurbank”, overseeing legal issues, as well as managing the bank's collateral service, claims and litigation department, advertising and public relations department, human resources, and administrative services. Musataeva managed the retail and card business units.
In this position, Gulnara Musataeva replaced Eldar Sarsenov, who left office due to acquiring the status of a major shareholder of JSC “Nurbank”.

Bio: Gulnara Abaevna Musataeva was born on December 28, 1967. In 1990, she graduated from Karaganda State University with a degree in Law. Over different years, she has worked in the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations, as well as in the People's Bank. From 2011 to 2020, she was Managing Director and a member of the Management Board of JSC “Nurbank”. Since December 2, 2020, she was transferred to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Nurbank”. She has 27 years of experience in the banking sector.
