IQanat Fund is a socio-educational project by Kazakhstani entrepreneurs aimed at selecting the most motivated rural children and providing them with an educational 'ticket' to life. 94% of IQanat graduates receive grants to prestigious universities in Kazakhstan and abroad and are already studying in 17 countries worldwide. Today, the project covers all 170 districts of the country and is implemented with the support of more than 200 Kazakhstani entrepreneurs contributing to rural education development and providing patronage support to regions.
Nurbank's cooperation with the IQanat fund began in 2019. A significant testament to the deep involvement and long-term partnership is the fact that a shareholder of Nurbank JSC, Eldar Sarsenov, is a trustee of the fund. Specifically, he supports the creation of a comfortable and motivating educational environment for students in the Altynsarin district of the Kostanay region.
