In the new academic year, the nationwide social program "Path to Life" successfully launched by JSC "Nurbank" and Caspian University, as part of the "Year of Kindness" project.
Thanks to "Path to Life," 11 graduates from children's institutions in Almaty were admitted to Caspian University. JSC "Nurbank," in collaboration with Caspian University, covered the costs of tuition, monthly stipends, and other expenses related to the educational process.
Moreover, students studying under the "Path to Life" program will have the opportunity to work in various regional divisions of JSC "Nurbank" in the future.
Saken Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Nurbank":
"I would like to note that the program is intended only for orphans who showed an eagerness to learn while in the care of a children's home and who genuinely strive to obtain higher education. This is a mutually beneficial collaboration for the student, the bank, and the state. The orphan gets an education and future employment, the bank gets a promising specialist, and the state gains a fully integrated member of society."
Among the many charitable and sponsorship projects being implemented, "Nurbank" pays special attention to society's most vulnerable groups. The "Time to Give Warmth" campaign is conducted annually by JSC "Nurbank" throughout Kazakhstan to provide material support to orphans and children without parental care. Since 2008, "Nurbank" has been a partner in the social project "Road Home" with TK "KTK," aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find new families.
Saken Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Nurbank":
"Social projects conducted by Nurbank not only raise awareness about this issue but also significantly impact the resolution of this social concern. According to our estimates, more than 300 Kazakhstani children have found families thanks to the "Road Home" project. We want to embed the tradition of philanthropy in society, which is why the bank has plans for other charitable actions.
