On the eve of the New Year, Nurbank held a New Year's event for orphans and children without parental care. Bank top managers, together with the children and animators, danced around the Christmas tree and played with fairy-tale characters. Children received sweet gifts from the event organizers.
“Today, 30 children came to the event. It's important that we all feel the holiday spirit as the New Year approaches, especially those who need it most. I hope we could bring joy and good cheer to the children today,” shared Mr. Kantar Orynbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Nurbank.
Among the many charitable and sponsorship projects implemented, Nurbank pays special attention to orphans and children left without parental care. Since 2008, Nurbank has been a partner of the joint social project with KTK “The Road Home,” aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find a new family. According to Mr. Orynbayev, this program not only draws public attention to this issue but also has a real impact on solving this social problem.
“Thanks to the 'Road Home' project, 32 children found families in 2013,” concluded Mr. Orynbayev.
