PRESS RELEASE
Almaty, December 23, 2013
On the eve of the New Year and December holidays, Nurbank JSC organized a traditional charity screening of Disney's animated film 'Frozen' for orphans and children without parental care as part of the 'Time to Share Warmth' campaign. As part of the campaign, Kantar Orynbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank JSC, and 30 children from Orphanage No. 1 in Almaty attended the movie session at Kinopark 11 IMAX 3D, located in Essentai Mall.
'On the eve of the New Year, children who have been less fortunate are eagerly waiting for surprises, miracles, and gifts. But most of all, they yearn for family warmth, communication, and support from adults. Today, as one big family, we went to see a movie, ate popcorn, and discussed the storyline. I hope the New Year will bring a bit more joy and happiness to the children in orphanages. We urge everyone to help those in need and not remain indifferent when there is an opportunity to assist,' said Kantar Orynbayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Nurbank JSC.
After watching the film 'Frozen,' the children received New Year's gifts and treats.
Among the various charity and sponsorship projects, Nurbank pays special attention to orphans and children without parental care. Since 2008, Nurbank has partnered with KTK TV on the social project 'Path to Home,' aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find a new family. According to Mr. Orynbayev, this program not only raises public awareness of the issue but also has a tangible impact on solving this social problem.
'Thanks to the “Path to Home” project, 32 children found families in 2013,' concluded Mr. Orynbayev.
