On June 13, 2013, the 'Bankir' magazine summarized the results of the 1st International Competition 'Bank You Trust — 2013' (hereinafter referred to as the competition), during which the most reliable banks were identified in Ukraine, the Baltics, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, and Russia. The activities of the banks were evaluated based on data from rating agencies, experts' opinions, regulator's data, and analysis of each bank from open sources. During the analysis for the nomination 'For the Best Charity Projects', data from relevant funds and associations were taken into account. The competition was held with the informational support of the Russian Federation Embassy in Ukraine, the Embassies of Poland, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, the central banks of CIS countries, and international banking associations.
According to the results of the competition 'Bank You Trust-2013', the winner in the special category 'For the Best Charity Projects' was 'Nurbank'. The award ceremony took place on June 13 in the Triumphal Hall of the 'Kyiv' hotel complex (Kyiv, Ukraine). 'Nurbank' was represented at the event by the Head of the Advertising and Public Relations Department, Elena Kovaleva, who received a medal and diploma.
“We did not expect to receive such an award. The competition organizers developed an innovative approach for evaluating the laureates. Both large and small banks were in equal conditions. Engaging in charitable activities, 'Nurbank' does not expect to receive rewards or any preferences. For us, it is a part of successful activities, an indicator of financial stability, and reliability,” said Chairman of the Board of JSC 'Nurbank' Kantar Orynbaev.
