Under the classic slogan "Cleanliness is the key to health!", employees of JSC Nurbank will hold the "Bankers Against Waste" campaign on September 29, 2012, aimed at drawing attention to the issue of pollution in recreational areas. Setting aside all their tasks, 200 bank employees and Kazakh pop stars will clean the Medeu gorge of litter.
Any park visitor can participate in the event. JSC Nurbank will provide all participants with necessary tools. Bankers intend to make the city cleaner and more beautiful.
"We will be holding our volunteer work day for the second time. Visitors often come here to relax and do not think about cleanliness, leaving bags and cans all over the gorge. There are also those who notice litter but do nothing to clean it up. Today, we invite everyone to care for Medeu's appearance and join us in making it cleaner," said Rauan Daukenov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Nurbank.
A special program will be provided for nature reserve visitors: music, contests, and catering. Unlike the "Green Saturday" held by the bank in April 2012, this event features Kazakh pop stars.
On April 21, 2012, as part of "Green Saturday," a special event was held for orphans and children without parental care in the Alma-Arasan gorge of the Zailiysky Alatau. The event was attended by 150 bank employees and 40 children from the specialized complex "Zhan uya", boarding school No. 8, and orphanages No. 1 and No. 2 in Almaty.
