For a month, Nurbank employees prepared gifts for Baganshylsky Orphanage №1 — bringing clothes, toys, and money. Finally, on May 31, Bank workers met with the children from the orphanage in Baganshyl village. The children were gifted clothes, toys, roller skates, books, and much more, and had some playtime with the youngest ones.
At the event, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Rauan Daukenov, spoke and wished the children and caregivers health, success, prosperity, achievement of their goals, more warmth on their life journey, and all the best. R. Daukenov actively participated in distributing gifts. The children were genuinely happy with the gifts — such moments are rare!
With the funds collected by Nurbank staff, players of two football teams from the orphanage received uniforms as gifts — jerseys and shorts, socks, boots, gloves for goalkeepers, and balls. The kids were thrilled! At the end of the event, to applause, the little ones danced the 'Chunga-Changa' dance. Everyone enjoyed the Bubble Show!
On June 1, Nurbank, supported by Chaplin Cinemas, organized a free screening of the animated film 'Tarbosaurus 3D' for children from Orphanage №2 and Special (Correctional) Boarding School №8.
The children were treated to drinks, chips, and cookies. They loved the cartoon and received many positive emotions.
For information:
Since 2008, Nurbank has been a partner in the joint social project 'Homeward' with TC KTK, aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans. The main goal of the project is to help orphans find a new family. Thanks to the 'Homeward' project, in 2011 alone, 175 children were adopted by Kazakhstani citizens and 16 by foreigners in Almaty. To date, more than 300 children have found families.
