We would like to inform you that in May of this year, the Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund (KDIF), in collaboration with the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan (AFK), is conducting a survey among bank depositors. The purpose of the survey is to determine the level of awareness about deposit insurance and the factors considered by depositors when choosing a bank and a deposit.
The survey is one of the steps in the framework of the joint efforts of KDIF, AFK, and banks to enhance the financial literacy of the population. Currently, KDIF provides consultations to depositors 6 days a week via the short free number 1460 and round-the-clock support in the KDIF Telegram chat. Furthermore, it is expected that combined efforts with AFK and banks will allow expanding the reach to the population across all regions of the country.
