A Ticket to Life

A Ticket to Life

The nationwide social program 'A Ticket to Life' has begun, initiated and successfully implemented by JSC 'Nurbank' and Caspian University. This was announced at a press conference by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the bank, Saken Akhmetov, and the Rector of Caspian University, Zholdasbek Nusenov.

Thanks to this program, 11 graduates from orphanages in Almaty are now studying at Caspian University. The bank and the university have taken on the costs of tuition fees and will also pay scholarships.
"This is mutually beneficial cooperation," said Saken Akhmetov. "An orphanage graduate truly receives a ticket to life, and the state gains a full-fledged member of society. Initially, it's a chance for a good, quality education, and then for employment. After graduating from university, we are ready to hire such a promising specialist."
This is not the first social project by JSC 'Nurbank'. Every year, the 'Time to Give Warmth' campaign is conducted throughout Kazakhstan. It is targeted material aid for orphans and children left without parental care. Since 2008, Nurbank, together with KTK television channel, has been running the 'Road Home' social project aimed at promoting the adoption of orphans.
Thanks to this work, more than 300 Kazakhstani children have found families and new parents.
