Standard & Poor's Affirms Nurbank's Credit Ratings at 'B/B'

The international rating agency Standard & Poor's has once again affirmed Nurbank's long-term and short-term credit ratings at 'B/B'. Analysts at Standard & Poor's noted the successful reduction in the volume of non-performing loans, as well as the positive growth rates of the bank.

“We assess Nurbank's business position as 'moderate' since the bank is among the largest banks in Kazakhstan. Furthermore, dynamic development has allowed the bank to stabilize its competitive position and financial profile,” noted representatives of Standard & Poor's.

“The affirmation of the credit rating at 'B/B' indicates the bank's reliability and the trust from clients and partners. To improve the bank's performance this year, we intend to actively develop the retail business and expand our online banking services. Our clients already have access to new card products, the internet banking Nurbank24, a money transfer platform Nurpay.kz, a large network of service payment terminals, and much more,” noted the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Nurbank, E. Sarsenov.
