On November 7, 2016, JSC 'Nurbank' executed the payment of the second tranche of compensation on individual deposits made in the national currency (tenge) due to the transition to a floating exchange rate regime.
Compensation was received by depositors who restructured their deposits in October 2015 and did not withdraw them for one year in accordance with the terms of the Compensation Payment Procedure.
It is noted that the calculation of the compensation amount used the exchange rate of the national currency (tenge) to the US dollar as of August 18, 2015 - 188.35 tenge per US dollar and the exchange rate of the national currency (tenge) to the US dollar as of October 31, 2016 - 333.50 tenge per US dollar.
Compensation payment to depositors who restructured their deposits in November 2015 will be made by December 10, 2016, inclusive.
