Nurbank Joins the Instant Payment System

Nurbank has joined the Instant Payment System (IPS). IPS allows for transfers in tenge between clients of participating Kazakhstani banks 24/7. Transfers are carried out using a mobile phone number. Card numbers and other details are not required.

Today, IPS offers financial service consumers a convenient and simple online payment service using payment tools regardless of the servicing bank. IPS will become the foundation for the development and expansion of the range of digital services provided by financial institutions.

For transfers by phone number, the sender must enter the recipient's mobile phone number, the amount in tenge, and the recipient's bank in their bank's mobile app. IPS participants set their own tariffs. However, currently, the commission is symbolic – 10 tenge per transfer. The maximum single transfer amount is 500 thousand tenge.

Nurbank has upgraded the mobile application and implemented a new digital service for the convenience of our clients - a safe and fast way to transfer funds in the national currency. Nurbank strives to optimize business processes for maximum client convenience," notes Gulnara Musataeva, Chairman of the Board, Nurbank JSC.

To utilize instant transfers, you must update the NUR24.kz mobile application. In the "Transfers" section, select "To another bank," then indicate "By phone number," enter the mobile phone number, recipient's bank, and the amount. You need to verify the entered data and confirm the transfer with a code.

Nurbank JSC is licensed №1.2.15/193 dated February 3, 2020, issued by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
