JSC 'Nurbank' and De Montfort University Kazakhstan (DMU Kazakhstan) have signed a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation. The joint activities of the parties will focus on establishing partnership relations, developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the framework of joint scientific and financial projects, as well as initiatives for the training of highly qualified personnel in the financial and banking sector.
"This year marks the 30th anniversary of Nurbank. Throughout its operations, Nurbank has adhered to the principles of sustainable development, actively supporting various educational projects. This involves a program for students who wish to pursue a career in the financial sector," commented Gulnara Musataeva, Chairman of the Bank's Management Board, regarding the signing of the document, "we are interested in finding new solutions in the field of digitizing financial operations and need young and bold personnel".
DMU Kazakhstan plans to conduct educational programs for improving the qualifications of personnel in the banking sector, including training sessions and seminars for bank employees with the involvement of lecturers from leading international educational and research centers. In turn, students of DMU Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to intern at JSC 'Nurbank'.
"DMUK is primarily a career-oriented university, providing quality education in the fields of business, IT, and creative industries. Our partnership will enable students to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills and experience in the banking and financial sector. In turn, interaction with the university will allow the bank to see its future potential personnel with the prospect of their subsequent employment in the structural divisions of the head office and territorial branches of JSC 'Nurbank'," noted James Pounder, Rector of DMU Kazakhstan.
