The next social campaign by Nurbank has started to support public utility workers in 10 cities of Kazakhstan

In winter, the workload of public utility workers increases significantly. Despite snow and frost, thousands of these workers start early in the morning to clear the city of snow and ice formed overnight. As a sign of support and recognition of their hard work, Nurbank JSC has been conducting the 'Warmth Gift' campaign for seven years in a row.

During these cold winter days, public utility workers are almost around the clock in the cold, clearing snow-covered streets, sidewalks, roads, and highways. Thanks to their hard work, students and adults across the country can travel to school and work without hindrance, and heavy snowfalls and blizzards do not paralyze public transportation or city life in general. As part of Nurbank's 'Warmth Gift' social initiative, coffee cars travel through the streets of our country's cities, treating public utility workers to hot drinks and fresh pastries.

Workers warmly welcome Nurbank's bright yellow coffee cars, which bring them a touch of warmth, attention, and care on frosty winter days. After long hours of work outside, a cup of aromatic tea and a hearty snack help workers take a break and warm up.

For native Almaty resident Rinat Amirov, his work in public utilities is not just a job, but also a personal contribution to maintaining the cleanliness and order of his beloved city and its residents' safety. Therefore, he approaches his work with particular care and responsibility.

«I've been working as a territory cleaner for about six months. Overall, the job is not complicated. I've worked as a welder for 20 years, so manual labor doesn't scare me. Plus, we have a close-knit and cheerful team – we face all difficulties together and with humor. The only issue was the frosty days we had in Almaty last week. It was very nice that during the cold, Nurbank's team was with us, supporting us with hot tea and coffee», shares Rinat Amirov.

The 'Warmth Gift' campaign has been held since 2018. Since its inception, its goal has remained unchanged – to express gratitude to public utility workers for their work, which often goes unnoticed, and to draw citizens' attention to their difficult but crucial work for a comfortable city life.

«Over the years, charitable activities have been an important part of our bank's corporate policy. Our social policy is multifaceted and aimed at supporting specific recipients. Within the 'Warmth Gift' campaign, we want to draw attention to the activities of public utility workers and thank them for their hard work. This year marks the 7th anniversary of the campaign. It is gratifying that our initiative resonates not only with the workers but also with the city's residents. We thank everyone for their participation and support», said Gulnara Musataeva, Chairman of the Board of Nurbank JSC.

This year, 'Warmth Gift' is held in 10 cities of Kazakhstan: Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Kostanay, Oral, Karaganda, Petropavlovsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, and Kokshetau. The campaign will run until the end of February. Taking this opportunity, Nurbank calls on all caring citizens to become part of this important event, if possible, by thanking the real heroes of our streets with kind words for their significant work.
