How does a leasing transaction occur?

  1. The lessee contacts the leasing company
  2. The lessor conducts project evaluation and negotiations with the supplier of the leased asset
  3. The lessor makes decisions at the Leasing Committee
  4. The lessee, the lessor, and the supplier enter into a tripartite purchase agreement, while the lessee and the lessor simultaneously enter into a financial leasing agreement
  5. The lessee makes an advance payment
  6. The supplier delivers the leased asset to the lessee. Delivery includes transportation, customs clearance for imported leasing assets, and transfer of the asset to the lessee.
  7. Upon expiration of the lease agreement and payment of all lease payments, the ownership of the leased asset transfers to the lessee.
