Undoubtedly, the profession of a doctor is the most important and noble. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical experience, physical endurance, and strict adherence to medical ethics, it requires courage, daily dedication, and the ability to empathize with others' pain. Every minute, doctors must take on a huge burden of responsibility for making life-critical decisions. The multidisciplinary regional hospital of the North Kazakhstan region is one of the largest hospitals in the region. Doctors here save and prolong lives daily, performing the most complex medical procedures and surgeries. In 2022, more than 170,000 patients sought medical help at the hospital. With the expansion of the range of services offered in the future, this number is expected to grow. We talked with the director of the hospital, Saken Amrin, about the institution's activities, problems, plans, and ongoing work.
